The Mistral Spyder on offer here was built in June, 1966 and sold directly to the U.S. The first owner was Mr. John Cuccio of Westport, Connecticut. The car is finished in red and has recieved new, custom hand-sewn tan leather seats and door panels fitted. It has new, tan wool carpeting and a correct cloth convertible top. The engine has been completely rebuilt to factory specifications. Brakes and suspension components have also been rebuilt. All the metal components such as chrome and aluminum have been re-finished and polished. The engine compartment has been detailed. It is in outstanding condition and drives as well as it looks. A classic front-engined Maserati, this Mistral Spyder has all the great attributes of the marque: Fast, elegant, comfortable and with excellent road manners to match.

I bought #599 in Monterey in 2003 and am the proud owner of her. She needed quite some tlc, like many American cars. But since sorting her out, she left me with beautiful memories of many trips and rallies.
