  • Fabulous, Vignale-styled, 2+2 Maserati ‘Grand Tourer’ in need of rescue
  • Right-hand drive, 5-speed ZF manual box, 290bhp, 4.7-litre V8 with 37,000 miles indicated
  • Stalled restoration started in 2012. Does roll but has not run for a few years
  • We understand all the parts are there. Brand new bumpers (F/R) in cardboard boxes
  • Nautilus Blue coachwork with a medium blue leather interior which appears basically sound
  • Very little history apart from a few MOTs. HPI clear. Five previous owners we believe
  • Wouldn’t take much to turn it into a good usable classic or maybe take it to the next level

Thanks for the information. I viewed this car at classic car auctions at Kenilworth, very crusty, bid to approx 30k by the auctioneer. Too far gone imho for the money. ( I was tempted by the tired Espada parked next to it which also didn’t sell).
