According to the certification of Maserati Classiche that comes with the car, the car was sold new on 26 September 1978 in Vienna, Austria. This document also mentions that this elegant coupe featured a Verde Pino livery combined with a Pelle Bianca leather interior. This Kyalami underwent a complete quality restoration at the end of the 80’s. In 2014/2015, it benefited from a thorough service in order to be used frequently by the current owner. Still equipped with its original mechanicals, it is mated to the ZF 5-speed manual transmission, which makes it possible to take full advantage of the impressive torque of this beautiful engine. The rear transaxle has been redone in 2015, borrowing elements from the Quattroporte that guarantees greater robustness. The bodywork is sound, well aligned and in a beautiful state of preservation, as is the slightly patinated leather interior. With production limited to 200 units, the Kyalamis featuring the specifications of our example are more than rare in this state of preservation.
